The Learning Center at Gillam-Grant strives to keep students engaged during after school hours. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs are offered throughout the school year. Give your child the additional opportunities they deserve.
Some of our typical STEM Program offerings include:
- Lego Building Club (3rd – 6th Grade Students)
Students learn engineering skills and teamwork while building the theme of the month.
- Jr. Lego Building Club (1st – 2nd Grade Students)
Younger students learn engineering skills and teamwork while building the theme of the month.
- Lego Make and Take Events
In these classes, students build the project of the month and get to take the project home to keep!
- Lego Robotics Club (Various grade levels)
Students learn how to build robots and program them to perform tasks.
Classes/Lessons are offered during the school year that inspire students to reach their highest academic potential and enrich their lives. Typical offerings include:
- Art Lessons (by Appointment)
- Piano Lessons (by Appointment)
- NYS Driver Pre-Licensing Class
Students must take this New York state required class to receive their license. Offered every two months.
- SAT Prep Class
Offered each spring to help high school juniors ace the SAT for college applications!
- Regents Review Classes
Offered each spring as needed to help students prepare for June regents.
